| Special Commission Meeting at Woods Cross City | Tonight at 5:30 pm the commissioners will hold a special commission meeting at Woods Cross City prior to their city council meeting. The commissioners will make themselves available for a questions and answers forum for citizens and city council members. |
| Bid Opening for HVAC ATC Upgrade for Memorial Courthouse Building | Steve Rawlings, Davis County Clerk/Auditor, opened bids for the HVAC ATC Upgrade for the Memorial Courthouse Building as follows: Trane $443,800.00 MSS $162,220.00 Automated Mechanical $118,803.00 Marshall Scott took the bids to review and will schedule the bid award for a future meeting. Vice-Chair Millburn stated the County is going through all our facilities in an effort to increase energy efficiency with the systems. |
| Agreement #2011-47 CORRPRO to Complete Cathodic Leak Protection & Survey Inspections | Marshall Scott, Davis County Facilities Management Director, presented agreement #2011-47 with CORRPRO. The company will complete cathodic leak protection and survey inspections for five county facilities: Memorial Courthouse, Headquarters Library, Valley View Golf Course, North Branch Library and South Branch Library. The contractor inspects gas lines at a point where the gas supply line enters the buildings, conducts a survey, test lines, and provides a report of actual results of the tests and survey. | | Commission Comments: Commissioner Petroff said, “I have been reading the emails regarding the West Davis Corridor coming to the commissioners email account and replying back to citizens. UDOT has received over 5000 comments from citizens. The concern is for the highway to follow the route for the least impact and do the best good.” Commissioner Millburn said, “The legislature is in the final days. We are watching for any surprises. I express appreciation for those who serve in the armed forces. The last survivor of World War I just recently died at age 110. Unfortunately, we are losing many of those who served in WWII.” |
