Davis County History Project

As Davis County looks to move to a new future in a new building we are also looking to take the past with us as well.  We need your help locating information and photographs of past Davis County elected officials.  We are also hoping to get old photographs of Davis County buildings and historical events that can help link us to our great Davis County history.

Weber State University student/interns Rick Kelson and Devon Tarantino are working to help Davis County produce a history of our former elected officials from 1852 until now.  They need your help getting biographical information and a photograph for past County elected officials. Please check the list below. You may find you have a relative on the list and that you have one of the missing puzzle pieces for one of these former public servants. 

We are also interested in collecting quality old photographs of the county buildings, events, the fair, parades, etc.  These (or copies of these) will then become part of our Davis County history and can be used to display in our new county building as well as future publications documenting the people, places, and events that have helped to shape Davis County over the past 160 years.  If you have any information or photos to help us in this history project please contact one of the following.
