Youth Health Associates is committed to the welfare and growth of the clients we serve and to the safety of the community. We are a clinically driven program motivated by both the Restorative Justice Model and by the standards of treatment and practice put forth by the Network on Juveniles Offending Sexually (NOJOS). Decisions affecting clients are treatment team oriented to ensure appropriate judgment and client growth.

We are dedicated to helping you achieve your dreams and goals. This is a time of history when there is a great division between people who are uncertain, idle, empty, miserable, and living mediocre lives, and those who are focused on greatness, achievement, purpose, fulfillment, and joy. Many have beautiful, fulfilling, lives but there are some who are stuck in scarcity, misery, uncertainty, crime, addiction, and pain, and they don't know what to do about it. The gap between these two extremes needs to be closed.

Mood Disorders, Anxiety Disorders, Personality Disorders, Substance Abuse Disorders, Trauma/Abuse

Like CPR, QPR is a simple process that anyone can be trained to use, to help save the life of a person who is having suicidal thoughts. Learn how to recognize warning signs, ask questions to assess the situation, persuade the person to seek help, and refer them to a mental health or crisis caregiver.   This training is 1.5 hours long and is available to any community group with 10 or more participants.

SafeTALK is a 3 hour training workshop, featuring:
Training to identify persons with thoughts of suicide, & community first aid resources to connect them to help
Awareness of reasons that we may miss, dismiss, or avoid signs of suicide
The simple yet effective steps: Tell, Ask, Listen, and KeepSafe
Hands-on skills practice and development

This directory identifies mental, emotional and behavioral crisis services, clinical/treatment services, and mental health and substance abuse providers in Davis County. Services are described including specialties, average cost, languages spoken, payments accepted, etc. Each resources includes hours of operation, phone number, and website.

Family Counseling Service (FCS) of Northern Utah offers affordable counseling and mental health services to individuals and families, especially those in crisis who have nowhere else to turn for help. Provides a wide array of mental health and counseling services addressing a variety of issues, including those related to depression, anxiety, suicide, grief, substance and domestic abuse and anger management. LGBTQ+ affirming therapists.

Hours: Monday-Thursday: 8:00 AM to 8:00 PM; Friday: 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM
