Vehicle Registration Renewal

Vehicle registration renewals generally can be processed at the Tech Center. It is a "Quick Renewal" facility where registrations can be quickly and routinely processed. A full service DMV office must process registrations requiring special attention. We cannot process watercraft or off-road registrations.

If you need an address change or have questions about the vehicle registration renewal process, please contact the Department of Motor Vehicles at 1-800-DMV-UTAH or 801-297-7780, or see their website at http://dmv.utah.gov/.

Registrations cannot be processed where:
  • Any change in the title -- such as adding or removing an owner’s name, or buying out a lease, or any other title change -- is required.
  • The vehicle owner has moved from one county to another and an address change is required. Please call the DMV and have the address correction made.
  • The registration is for a vehicle registered in a vehicle fleet.
  • Any unusual data error occurs.
