Temporary Mass Gathering Permits
A temporary mass gathering is an actual or reasonably anticipated assembly of 500 or more people, which continues or can reasonably be expected to continue for two or more hours per day. A temporary mass gathering does not include an assembly of people at a location with permanent facilities designed for that specific assembly, unless the designed occupancy levels are exceeded.
A temporary mass gathering permit may be obtained by filling out a temporary mass gathering permit application. This application shall be submitted at least 15 days prior to the first advertisement of the gathering and at least 30 days prior to the first day of the gathering.
Please review the supplemental appendix (pdf) for more information about temporary mass gatherings.
