Full-Time Positions

All full-time job openings for the Davis County Library are handled through the Davis County Personnel Department. Applications are accepted for full-time library positions only when a vacancy exists and a new hiring register is being developed for a specific job classification. Page and Circulation Clerk Positions

The Davis County Library accepts applications for part-time shelving Page and Circulation positions four times each year. All applicants for Page and Circulation Clerk positions are required to participate in a screening session.

Please call to schedule your screening for the following date:

Watch for upcoming screening dates in the Spring.

Bring a completed Davis County employment application to the screening.
Applications will be accepted and kept for one year.
Applicants will be considered based on screening scores as job positions open.

You will be screened on:

How well you put fiction books in alphabetical order
How well you put non-fiction books in Dewey Decimal numerical order
How well you count money and give back change

If you would like to be considered for a Circulation Clerk position you may schedule an additional appointment for a Data Entry Test after the screening is completed.
