Job Description
|
General Purpose
Under close supervision of the concession manager, performs a variety of tasks in vending food and beverages to the general public and maintaining cleanliness of concessions.
|
Example of Duties:
(Any one position does not include all of the duties listed; nor do the listed examples include all duties which may be found in positions of this class.) Vends food and beverages to the public following County and department guidelines and procedures and in compliance with County Health Department. Collects and receipts revenue for vended products in accordance with County policies and procedures. Cleans concession area at the end of each day and completes daily checklist following established policies and procedures. Alerts concession manager or lead concession aide to any equipment problems, personnel problems, or general concerns. Verifies delivery slips, stocks, and stores new inventory as soon as possible after delivery. Performs related duties as assigned.

Education and Experience:
This is an entry level position requiring no minimum amount of education or experience.

Special Qualifications:
Must obtain a current food handler's permit immediately upon hire. Must be at least 16 years of age. Employees driving a personal vehicle while on county business must maintain the minimum vehicle liability insurance as specified in the Utah Code. Must possess a valid Utah driver's license as required by the position.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
This position may require the driving of a motor vehicle; skill in operating a motor vehicle in a safe manner; ability to insure motor vehicle is operating in a safe manner; knowledge of Utah motor vehicle rules and regulations. Ability to: collect and receipt revenue from vended products in accordance with County policy and procedures, follow written and oral instructions, communicate effectively with patrons, maintain effective working relationships with supervisors, other county employees, and the general public.

Applicant must possess a current Davis County Food Handler's Permit. A photocopy of a current food handler's permit is required with application. Food Handler's Permit can be obtained from the Health Department.
