Feller Behavioral Health (FBH) is a team of highly trained professional prescribers managing medication and licensed therapists providing psychotherapy and counseling. Our integrated approach to behavioral health care is the most effective in making correct diagnoses and proper treatment decisions. In 2014, after recognizing a growing trend of adults requesting services for anxiety and depression, Davis Behavioral Health (DBH) began offering Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR), an evidence-based educational delivery of mindfulness to adults in the community to address this trend as part of its Prevention & Education programming

As the mindfulness-related prevention efforts in Davis County have grown, DBH has recognized the need for a dedicated space for the community to gather for evidenced-based classes, workshops on a variety of topics, and support groups. With deep gratitude to a generous private donor, we have been able to move forward with establishing the Davis Mindfulness Center. We envision this Center as a community-driven, community-supported effort–a place to come to experience the support and nourishment of being in community.

Live Strong House is a residential treatment center for adolescents and young adults. We specialize in students who struggle with information processing issues, substance abuse, PTSD, ADHD, depression, or anxiety. Many of our students do not fit the traditional school environment and may be heavily influenced by negative peer groups.

The mission of Live Strong House is to develop a lasting change in the lives of young men by providing the highest quality of treatment, living our core values, creating interpersonal relationships, loving self and others, and understanding how to Live Strong.

The work we do at Live Strong House is centered around developing a connection with each of our students and using that connection to facilitate personal growth. Our ability to focus on each student creates a lasting bond that allows us to influence and engender internal change.

Whether your child uses video games to escape from relationships or uses substances to cope with day-to-day life, at Live Strong House, he will foster healthy connections that will show him how to love himself and others. Without that love, other relationships with family, friends, or others will be a struggle.

My name is David Christensen. I am a Marriage and Family Therapist working in Farmington. I specialize in Child and Adolescent Therapy and currently work at South Davis Psychological Services in Station Park. I work with many children and adolescents from the Davis School District and am aware of the many issues that are being faced by the students of the District. One of the methods that I have found to be especially helpful for to connect with the Adolescents in the area is through Telehealth services. I created an online therapy clinic that specializes in online mental health for adolescents and their families, Family Therapy Center of Utah.
