GENERAL ELECTION - NOVEMBER 3, 2026

8:00 PM – 11:00 PM

Tuesday, November 3, 2026 is General Election Day in Utah. Davis County voters can cast their ballot by mail, at a secure drop box, or in person at any Vote Center. Mail ballots must be received by the Clerk’s Office no later than 8:00 p.m. today, so do not mail your ballot now; use a drop box or Vote Center instead. Drop boxes close and polls close at 8:00 p.m. Visit the Davis County Clerk’s Office page for Vote Center locations and your sample ballot.

Veterans Day Parade Event

Layton’s Veterans Parade

Layton City, the Northern Utah Vietnam Veterans of America (VVA), and the Fleet Reserve Association (FRA) will host the annual Veterans Parade on Saturday, November 7th, 2026. The Veterans Parade is an event to honor all men and women who have served and are currently serving in the Armed Forces. This year will mark the 20th year of the Veterans Parade and the 6th time it has been held in Layton City. The Veterans Parade, scheduled to start at 11:11am, will proceed along Wasatch Drive, through Layton Commons Park (Constitution Circle), and ending at the south end of Layton Commons Park, near Hawthorne Drive. Immediately following the Veterans Parade, Layton City in partnership with the VVA will conduct a short ‘Veterans Honors Ceremony’ at the Vietnam Memorial Wall Replica site. The ‘Veterans Honors Ceremony’ is scheduled to start at the conclusion of the Veterans Parade, approximately 12:30pm. Admission: FREE

Veterans Day - County Offices Closed

Davis County offices will be closed on Wednesday, November 11, 2026, in observance of Veterans Day. This includes the County Administration Building, the Clerk’s Office, the Recorder’s Office, the Treasurer’s Office, the Health Department, and all county libraries. Regular business hours resume Thursday, November 12. Many services remain available online 24 hours a day, including property search, tax payments, marriage license requests, and records requests. Emergency services are not affected. For a police, fire, or medical emergency, call 911. Thank you to the veterans who have served our country and our community.
