We currently serve as your elected Board of Davis County Commissioners. As set by state statute, we hold responsibilities for the executive and legislative powers, duties and functions of the county. We are charged with levying taxes, adopting ordinances and making policy for 300,000 + residents here in Davis County as it relates to county business.
Davis County is governed by a three-member elected Board of Commissioners, who serve four-year, overlapping terms. Commissioners have general oversight to ensure compliance with County rules, policies, and ordinances. Commissioners approve the adoption and amendment to the budget, they also serve as the legislative body, and the property tax Board of Equalization.
