Deputy Terrell serves the community within the Davis County Correctional Facility. He began his career with the Davis County Sheriff's Office after retiring from the military, and actively participates in several special assignments including Honor Guard, the Correctional Emergency Response Team, and the Field Training Unit.  


Captain Daley has a 30+ year career with Davis County Sheriff's Office that began as a dispatcher. Throughout her career she has worked as a court bailiff, deputy sheriff/paramedic, detective, narcotics investigator, sergeant, and lieutenant. 


Jail Operations Specialist Lui, commonly referred to by many as "Mama Lui," has been proudly supporting deputies and serving the community within the Davis County Correctional Facility for more than a decade. 


Administrative Sergeant Pope has 20 years of emergency medical services experience and more than a decade of public safety experience. His first position with our office was a deputy sheriff/paramedic in the Patrol Division, where he continues to thrive and mentor new deputies.

Communications Center Manager Hess began her career with Davis County Sheriff's Office more than three decades ago. Her first assignment was dispatcher, then supervisor, and now she manages the Communications Center/Dispatch team.

Sergeant Hasty started his career in court security, was selected to represent the office as a DARE/School Resource Officer, and then moved into a bailiff position. In this position, he continues to develop his skills and serve the community and, as a result, he has been promoted from deputy to sergeant.

Compensation

  • Competitive pay based on education and experience
  • Incentive percentages for SFO/LEO/BCO certification (6% for all three)
  • Current starting pay for deputies: $22.64/hr
