Long-Term Care Ombudsmen advocate for residents living in long-term care facilities, including skilled nursing facilities and assisted living facilities. Ombudsmen investigate and help to resolve concerns dealing with many aspects of the life of residents, including quality of care, resident rights, and federal and state regulatory requirements. Ombudsmen also educate staff, family members, residents, and the community about issues pertaining to long-term care.

Report personal rights violations
