Long Term Care Ombudsman Program
The Long Term Care Ombudsman Program serves people age 60 and older who are residents of long term care facilities. The program investigates and resolves complaints made by or for older people in long term facilities and administrative actions that may adversely affect their health, safety, welfare or rights.
The Utah Code defines long term care facilities as any skilled nursing facilities, nursing home, or any living arrangements in the community, through which room and personal care services are provided for adults 60 years of age or older.
