Davis County offers Medical & Dental plans through Public Employees Health Plan. Preferred Care and Summit Care are offered. The County pays 90% of the premium and the employee pays 10%.
Vacation and Sick
Davis County offers a generous vacation accrual plan and sick leave to be used for sickness and medical appointments
A total of eleven holidays are given to Davis County full time employees.
Employees enjoy a defined benefit pension plan administered by Utah Retirement Systems.
401(k) 457 Savings
Employees are given the opportunity to contribute to
a 401(k) plan and/or a 457 plan, if the employee contributes
at least 5% the county will match up to 5%. There are
ten different types of investments to choose from.
125 Cafeteria Plan
Employees can pay their medical, dental, life insurance premiums, dependent care and other un-reimbursable medical expenses with pre-tax dollars. This increases net take home pay.
Life insurance is available to employees at several different levels for excellent monthly premiums.
Long Term Care Insurance
Employees can choose from several options of Long Term Care Insurance with UNUM or Aetna.
Employee Assistance Plan
Davis County offers an assistance plan to employees experiencing personal, family, financial, substance abuse, or related problems. Most services are provided free of charge.
