Collection: 84,000 items (as of December 2011)

Construction began on the Syracuse/Northwest Branch in the fall of 2002. The branch opened in August 2003 and opened with a collection of approximately 30,000 items. The collection focuses mainly on high-demand items such as children's and young adult books, bestsellers, books on CD, DVDs, and so forth. The branch serves the communities of Syracuse, Clinton, West Point, and the western parts of Layton and Clearfield.
