Evening Commission Meetings Pilot Program

The commissioners are piloting a new meeting time—moving the second Tuesday meeting from 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM for three months—to see if it better accommodates citizens' needs. They will review attendance and gather feedback to assess if the later time improves participation.

We will pay tribute to Trooper George Rees of the Utah Highway Patrol (End of Watch July 2, 1960), Deputy Don Jensen of the Davis County Sheriff’s Office (End of Watch May 14, 1971), Lieutenant Thomas Rettberg of the Utah Highway Patrol (End of Watch February 11, 2000), and Officer Charles B. Skinner of the North Salt Lake Police Department (End of Watch November 8, 2008). Their courage and dedication will never be forgotten.
