Ash is a sweet girl who loves to play tug of war with a rope. She enjoys cuddling on the couch or bed. She has always been great with women and never had issues with children but she struggles with men. While she loves to play and even go for walks she isn’t great on a leash. We call her a “bull in a china shop” because she tends to have no sense of personal space. Malak is a 6-year-old mixed breed with the biggest heart for people. He is incredibly sweet, affectionate, and loves nothing more than cuddling up with the humans he trusts. Once he gets to know you, he’s a total love bug. Malak does best in a home without small children, as he has shown discomfort around them. For this reason, a child-free home (or one with older, dog-savvy kids) would be ideal for him to truly feel relaxed and safe. Several years ago, malak was attacked by another dog that was off leash. Since then, he has become selective and a bit unsure around certain dogs. A home with another dog is not completely off the table, but any potential canine sibling would need slow, proper introductions and time to adjust. Malak is currently not the only dog in his home and can coexist with the right match and management. Malak completed professional training through k9 fluent, which made a huge difference for him. He knows his commands well, responds to his e-collar, and is now able to go out and about comfortably. He also still has group training classes available, which can transfer to his new owner and would be a great resource to continue building his confidence and skills. Ideally, malak would have a yard to run around in, but as long as he gets consistent exercise through walks and activity, he will do just fine. He truly thrives with structure, patience, and understanding. Malak isn’t perfect — but he is deeply loving, loyal, and worth every bit of effort. In the right home, with someone who understands his needs and is willing to be patient, he will absolutely flourish. This rehoming decision was made with a heavy heart. With a 2-year-old at home and plans for another child, it’s simply no longer the right fit for malak — and he deserves a home where he can feel completely comfortable and safe. Nacho is a beautiful boy. He is so loving and will follow with you wherever you go. He loves walks, hikes, and anything outdoors. He is a big lab, very tall. He has great recall, good leash manners and follows directions well. He does great when i groom him or he can be groomed professionally. I spent a lot of time training him, and he is such a good boy. He is friendly with other dogs and does well with boarding when needed. He lives with our 9 year old and 1. 5 year old, and does well with cats. He is a shy at first but he warms up easily. He is up to date on all vaccines. It truly guts me to need to find him a new home. He is such a sweetheart. We just want to find the best possible family for him. Ruby was born 12/7/21. We adopted her at 3 months old. Ruby is a high energy girl and loves chasing her toys. She prefers chasing toys over pets. She is incredibly agile. Ruby loves to cuddle on your lap, but doesn’t love excessive petting. She can tolerate other dogs, but isn’t usually very fond of them. She loves trying to herd cats and gets along with my kitten. Ruby loves car rides and sticking her head out the window. She doesn’t attempt to jump fences and isn’t a wanderer, but does love chasing cars when given the opportunity. She can be loud when she hears a knock on the door, but loves giving new people a good sniff and will bring them her toy. Ruby is kennel trained, but prefers to sleep on your bed. She was fixed in june(ish) of ‘23 and that was when she had her most recent shots. I have a 5 year old male, what we think is a mix between a boxer and american bulldog. He is neutered. He was a rescue and is quite skiddish, it took him a long time to get brave enough to walk on our laminate floor and not be jumpy at our water dish. We believe he had a rough start to life and will need the most patient, relaxed, loving home to go to next. He loves to talk back to you. He loves playing with toys and loves his treats. But, he does have an allergy to gluten and will break out. We feed him wholehearted gluten free food and he does awesome on it. He will need time and patience but will return it tenfold.
