This is chapo! a 7yr old maltipoo with the cutest snaggle tooth who is a total lap dog! he’s feeling fresh after a much-needed glow-up, we’ve shaved his matted coat and it’s ready to grow back healthy. Chapo loves being close to his person; he can be a bit shy at first, but quickly finds comfort sticking by your side. In playgroups, he’s been dog-neutral and more of a quiet coexist type than an energetic playmate. He does have a mischievous streak, this little escape artist can climb chain link fences and indoor gates, so a secure setup is a must. He’ll also serenade you with his “old man” howl when left alone, just to let you know he misses you. Chapo is a sweet, quirky guy who will make an amazing furchild in the right home, he can’t wait to meet you!

Chile con queso is friendly, sociable, and delightfully energetic. She loves people; she will be a little quiet and timid the first few minutes in a new situation, but warms up very quickly. Her tail wags constantly and she loves to interact. She enjoys playing fetch with her ring toy.

Cindy is anxious and we have been giving her cbd chews to help calm her down. She has nipped at a couple of people, so i don't think she would be good around children, but we haven't had her around any little kids so i'm not sure. We've been feeding her science diet small bites and she seems to do well on it. When we first got her someone tried feeding her cheap dog food from the dollar store and it upset her stomach. The world can be a big place, and earl just needs a bit of patience and tlc to help him feel safe. Give him some time, and you’ll start to see his personality peek out — and once you’re in his circle, you’re in. he’s looking for a calm home without kids where he can continue building confidence at his own pace. This “perfect angel boy” truly lives up to the title — he’s house-trained, crate-trained, and incredibly dog-friendly. He greets every pup he meets with a happy wagging tail, ready to make a new best friend. at around 7 years old, fred didn’t get the memo about slowing down. Fuzzy is a 7yr old st. Bernard looking for a home without kids as she can be a bit guarding over her toys. She’s fully potty trained and is trustworthy being left alone during the day. Fuzzy has done good with other dogs in our playgroups here and walks nicely on leash, she doesn’t try to pull, though her size means she can unintentionally pull a bit. She does seem a bit sensitive to loud noises like jets or gunshot like sounds and may try to head indoors when she hears them, but we haven’t had her long enough to fully evaluate since the shelter environment comes with added stress. Overall, she’s a very sweet girl who just wants to hang out by your side and soak up all the affection she can get.

Leo is a small and friendly dog. He is shy at first but once he gets comfortable he loves to cuddle. He has a history of skin infections so don’t bathe him too often to avoid irritating his skin. When he was a puppy he had crystals in his bladder. The issue was resolved shortly after taking him to the vet and getting prescription food. Malak is a 6-year-old mixed breed with the biggest heart for people. He is incredibly sweet, affectionate, and loves nothing more than cuddling up with the humans he trusts. Once he gets to know you, he’s a total love bug. Malak does best in a home without small children, as he has shown discomfort around them. For this reason, a child-free home (or one with older, dog-savvy kids) would be ideal for him to truly feel relaxed and safe. Several years ago, malak was attacked by another dog that was off leash. Since then, he has become selective and a bit unsure around certain dogs. A home with another dog is not completely off the table, but any potential canine sibling would need slow, proper introductions and time to adjust. Malak is currently not the only dog in his home and can coexist with the right match and management. Malak completed professional training through k9 fluent, which made a huge difference for him. He knows his commands well, responds to his e-collar, and is now able to go out and about comfortably. He also still has group training classes available, which can transfer to his new owner and would be a great resource to continue building his confidence and skills. Ideally, malak would have a yard to run around in, but as long as he gets consistent exercise through walks and activity, he will do just fine. He truly thrives with structure, patience, and understanding. Malak isn’t perfect — but he is deeply loving, loyal, and worth every bit of effort. In the right home, with someone who understands his needs and is willing to be patient, he will absolutely flourish. This rehoming decision was made with a heavy heart. Ruby was born 12/7/21. We adopted her at 3 months old. Ruby is a high energy girl and loves chasing her toys. She prefers chasing toys over pets. She is incredibly agile. Ruby loves to cuddle on your lap, but doesn’t love excessive petting. She can tolerate other dogs, but isn’t usually very fond of them. She loves trying to herd cats and gets along with my kitten. Ruby loves car rides and sticking her head out the window. She doesn’t attempt to jump fences and isn’t a wanderer, but does love chasing cars when given the opportunity. She can be loud when she hears a knock on the door, but loves giving new people a good sniff and will bring them her toy. Ruby is kennel trained, but prefers to sleep on your bed. She was fixed in june(ish) of ‘23 and that was when she had her most recent shots. I have a 5 year old male, what we think is a mix between a boxer and american bulldog. He is neutered. He was a rescue and is quite skiddish, it took him a long time to get brave enough to walk on our laminate floor and not be jumpy at our water dish. We believe he had a rough start to life and will need the most patient, relaxed, loving home to go to next. He loves to talk back to you. He loves playing with toys and loves his treats.
